The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE is equipped with a 5-inch TFT panel with laminated glass that provides clear and convenient information display. Intuitive motorcycle graphics clearly show menu functions and adjustable parameters, while the simplified menu structure offers quick access to all main settings with fewer button presses.

The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE features refined rider-focused ergonomics. An enlarged front fairing and revised fuel tank shape improve support, knee contact with the motorcycle, stability, and control in corners. The redesigned headlight and compact bodywork emphasize the model’s aggressive character.

LED HEADLIGHT

LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS

The new front lighting of the KTM 790 DUKE is inspired by the KTM 990 DUKE and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R. The “floating” LED daytime running light design creates a distinctive look and improves rider visibility. An ambient light sensor integrated into the instrument panel automatically reacts to changing conditions.

LC8c ENGINE

POWER HUNGRY

The parallel-twin LC8c at the heart of the KTM 790 DUKE is one of the lightest and most compact engines in its segment. It delivers 87 Nm of torque, provides smooth and accessible pull from low revs, and strong acceleration in the upper range — up to 105 PS at 9,500 rpm. The engine complies with EURO 5+, and the claimed fuel consumption is 4.6 l/100 km. For European markets, the KTM 790 DUKE is also available in a 95 PS configuration to meet A2 category requirements.

RIDE MODES

CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER

In STREET mode, full power, traction control, limited front-wheel lift, smooth throttle response, and Road ABS are available. SPORT sharpens throttle response and allows more rear-wheel slip. RAIN provides maximum traction and reduces power from 105 to 95 PS in wet conditions. For more aggressive riding, Supermoto ABS can be activated.

TRACK PACK

TRACK MODE

The optional TRACK PACK unlocks TRACK Mode, Launch Control, throttle response settings, Anti-wheelie, and MTC slip regulation. A telemetry screen and lap timer also become available on the instrument panel for track sessions.

TECH PACK

MAXIMUM TECHNOLOGY

The optional TECH PACK includes all TRACK PACK functions plus Motor Slip Regulation, QUICKSHIFTER+ for ultra-fast gear changes, and Cruise Control for more comfortable long highway rides.

ERGONOMICS

FROM SPORT TO COMFORT

The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE is designed to be as compact as possible while remaining comfortable for a wide range of riders. An updated ergonomic triangle, new seat, revised footpeg position, adjustable tapered handlebar, and refined bodywork create an active, comfortable, and controlled riding position with clear feedback.

SEAT

TAKE YOUR PLACE

The front section of the seat has been made narrower for better knee contact with the motorcycle, while the main section retains width and sufficient padding for comfort and control. The high-grip cover allows controlled movement on the bike and is suitable for both textile and leather gear. Lower PowerParts seats are also available.

FOOTPEGS

MORE SPORTING POSITION

The footpegs themselves remain unchanged, but their position has been adjusted: they are shifted 2 mm rearward and 7 mm upward for a more active sporting riding position. The new forged footpeg holder with black anodizing features integrated heel guards and supports a reverse racing shift pattern without additional parts.

FRAME

THE FOUNDATION OF PRECISION

The frame is designed with maximum emphasis on weight reduction. The engine is used as a stressed member of the structure, which made it possible to reduce the amount of material without loss of strength and rigidity. Lightweight tubular chromoly steel helps keep the frame compact, while precisely tuned stiffness delivers sharp sporting handling and clear feedback.

SWINGARM

PIVOT POINT

The cast open lattice-structure swingarm is precisely calculated for optimal stiffness and stability while retaining the necessary elasticity for sensitive handling. Direct mounting of the rear shock reduces complexity and the number of parts, making the design simpler, lighter, and more efficient.

WP APEX FORK

TUNE IT TO YOURSELF

The adjustable 43 mm inverted WP Suspension open-cartridge fork uses split-function technology: compression and rebound damping operate in separate legs. Simple 5-click adjustment is provided for both parameters. Progressive springs deliver soft initial travel and greater resistance at the end of the stroke to protect against bottoming out.

WP APEX REAR SHOCK

MAXIMUM TRACTION

The gas-charged WP APEX rear shock is equipped with 5-click rebound adjustment and spring preload adjustment. The progressive characteristic helps maintain the motorcycle’s sporting behavior without sacrificing comfort on longer rides.

WHEELS AND TIRES

LIGHTNESS AND GRIP

Ultra-light alloy wheels reduce both overall and unsprung mass of the motorcycle. High-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires combine a high level of grip in various weather conditions, precise handling, stability, and significant mileage.

NEW WP BRAKE SYSTEM

BRAKING POWER

The 2027 KTM 790 DUKE is equipped with a completely new WP brake system developed in-house. At the front are two 300 mm floating discs paired with radial 4-piston calipers, and at the rear a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper.

CAST ALUMINUM SUBFRAME

ONE-PIECE CONSTRUCTION

The new cast aluminum subframe is manufactured as a single one-piece component. This design reduces weight, increases stiffness and durability, and improves airflow. The air filter and airbox housing are integrated into the subframe, optimizing packaging, lowering the center of mass, and directing more cool air to the engine.

PREMIUM MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

The motorcycle is supplied with PREMIUM MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. Riders receive up to 4 years of warranty coverage. To maintain the warranty, regular technical maintenance must be performed according to the service schedule at an authorized KTM dealer.

The offer applies starting from model year 2025 for all road-legal motorcycles of the KTM street range. Previously, Premium Manufacturer's Warranty applied only to selected models; it now covers the entire street range.
