FIND THE PERFECT BALANCE

Adjustability

Finding the perfect balance while attacking your favorite stretch of asphalt or sliding through tight cone turns is easy with the KTM 390 DUKE’s 43 mm WP APEX open-cartridge fork with adjustable compression and rebound. At the rear, the WP APEX shock with a separate piston is also adjustable for rebound and preload to find the ideal balance between comfort and grip.

INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM

TFT Display

Everything you need on one screen. The KTM 390 DUKE features a 5-inch TFT display with tempered glass. It pairs with a set of 4-way switchgear, allowing easy interaction with all the motorcycle’s functions – even smartphone connectivity. By the way, all DUKE models come with connectivity features that allow music playback, call handling, and turn-by-turn navigation to your destination.

Drawing on years of experience in the small-engine segment, the KTM 390 DUKE also comes with an updated gearbox and optimized cylinder head, as seen in the 2024 model.

Ride Modes

The KTM 390 DUKE gives its riders a choice of ride modes to best suit any condition. STREET mode is activated by default, unleashing the full fury of the KTM 390 DUKE, while RAIN mode keeps things under control in wet conditions. For track enthusiasts, there’s a dedicated TRACK screen! All modes are easily switched via the TFT display.

Track Screen

The TRACK screen transforms the 5-inch TFT display’s graphics into a more race-oriented layout, enlarging the tachometer, showing lap timers, selected gear, reducing the speedometer size, and displaying rider aid settings. Moreover, the TRACK screen enables the activation of the Launch Control system.

Launch Control

Get ready to blast off, as the KTM 390 DUKE comes standard with Launch Control for the first time. With the TRACK screen selected and Launch Control activated, the engine hits 7,000 RPM with the throttle fully open, waiting for the rider to release the clutch.

Seat

Excellent comfort for both rider and passenger thanks to thick seat foam, a narrow profile, and race-inspired ergonomics. Need a higher or lower seat height? The KTM 390 DUKE has a standard seat height of 820 mm, but it can easily be lowered to 800 mm with an optional KTM PowerParts seat.

Footpegs

Lightweight forged aluminum footpeg holders and grippy footpegs provide the rider with continuous grip during gear shifts, while high-quality CNC-machined footpegs are available in the KTM PowerParts catalog.

BACKBONE

Frame

The construction consists of two parts: a main steel trellis frame and a die-cast aluminum subframe. The rear shock is offset to provide space for a large airbox, allowing a lower seat height while emphasizing the aggressive DUKE stance. The frame is designed not only for looks but primarily to enhance the bike’s dynamics, increasing torsional rigidity, agility, and chassis feedback.

CURVED HINGE

Swingarm

The curved die-cast aluminum swingarm provides a strong and durable platform for the rear suspension, with a direct-mount shock offset to the side for a super-racy look. It also creates extra space for the new exhaust muffler, adding character.

SPRINGS INTO ACTION

Fork

Up front, a 43 mm WP APEX open-cartridge fork with 150 mm of travel keeps everything under control, with adjustable compression and rebound settings.

MAXIMUM GRIP

Rear Shock

At the rear, an offset WP APEX shock with a separate piston, 150 mm of travel, and 60 mm of stroke is fitted. Rebound is easily adjusted with a 5-step clicker and also features adjustable preload.

FELINE THUNDER

Wheels and Tires

Reducing weight where it matters most, the KTM 390 DUKE’s rims are fitted with grippy Michelin Power 6 tires. This not only improves overall handling performance but also ensures faster corner entry and reduced wear on components like axles and bearings.

BRAKING POWER

Brakes

The KTM 390 DUKE features a 320 mm brake disc with four-piston radial calipers on the front wheel. The design includes large discs to reduce operating temperatures, improve wear resistance, and extend pad life. The rear wheel has a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper, offering the same benefits. Cornering ABS and SUPERMOTO ABS are also standard.
