JHL LK150 19/16 PIT BIKE (ZS1P60YMJ)

JHL LK150 19/16 PIT BIKE (1P60YMJ)  a mid-size off-road pit bike with larger wheels and serious equipment

JHL LK150 19/16  a mid-size pit bike for riders who have outgrown compact machines but are not yet ready to move to a heavy full-size enduro. Larger 19"/16" wheels, a taller riding position and 340 mm of ground clearance help it tackle ruts, roots, rocks and rough sections with greater confidence, while the motorcycle’s geometry gives the rider enough room for active body movement and standing control.

At the heart of the model is the proven 4-stroke Zongshen 1P60YMJ engine with a PE22 carburetor, 4-speed manual transmission, electric starter and backup kick starter. A JHL inverted fork, hydraulic disc brakes, reinforced 428H chain and durable spoked wheels make the LK150 19/16 suitable not only for recreational riding but also for regular training on dirt tracks and forest routes.

A key advantage of this version is the factory-installed projector LED headlight. The LED unit with a lens creates a more focused and directed light beam, improves visibility at dusk and in the dark, and gives the motorcycle a modern, distinctive look. The JHL LK150 19/16 combines off-road capability, predictable handling and serious equipment, making it suitable both for skill development and active off-road recreation.

Why choose the JHL LK150 19/16

Large 19/16 wheels

The main advantage of this version is the 19" front wheel and 16" rear wheel. The larger diameter rolls over holes, roots, rocks and other obstacles more easily, so the LK150 19/16 feels noticeably more confident on difficult and broken terrain.

Factory projector LED lighting

This version of the JHL LK150 19/16 comes factory-equipped with a projector LED headlight. The lens helps form a more focused and directed beam, making the road and terrain ahead easier to see at dusk and in the dark. LED lighting also offers low energy consumption, instant illumination and a modern appearance.

More stability at speed

The larger-diameter wheels make the motorcycle more stable on straight sections and less sensitive to small bumps. On fast dirt roads and long training tracks, the 19/16 version feels calmer and more confidence-inspiring.

830 mm seat height

The taller riding position is better suited to teenagers and taller riders. In terms of ergonomics, the JHL LK150 19/16 is closer to a small enduro or motocross bike and provides more room for proper body movement while standing.

340 mm ground clearance

High ground clearance allows the bike to handle deep ruts, roots, rocks and other obstacles with greater confidence while reducing the risk of the lower engine and frame contacting the terrain.

A step before a full-size enduro

JHL positions the LK150 as a mid-size pit bike. The 19/16 version is especially well suited as a transition between a compact pit bike and larger off-road motorcycles with 21/18 wheels.

High-grade components

The JHL LK150 was not designed as the simplest possible budget pit bike. It uses a Zongshen engine, PE22 carburetor, aluminum handlebar, reinforced wheel components and a full hydraulic braking system.

No cutting corners on key components

Special attention was paid to the components that directly affect handling and durability: the frame, suspension, brakes, wheels and steering assembly. This is what separates the LK150 from many basic entry-level pit bikes.

Zongshen (1P60YMJ)

The single-cylinder 4-stroke Zongshen 1P60YMJ is a well-known and widely used pit-bike engine platform. Its simple design, high serviceability and wide range of spare and tuning parts make the motorcycle easy to maintain and upgrade.

13 hp for active off-road riding

Claimed output is 13 hp at 8000 rpm. The engine provides enough performance for confident dirt riding, climbing hills and maintaining a good pace on training tracks.

Linear throttle response

JHL specifically emphasizes the engine’s smooth character. Throttle response is linear and predictable, making it easier for the rider to control rear-wheel traction on loose, wet or slippery surfaces.

PE22 carburetor

The PE22 carburetor provides a simple and straightforward fuel system. It is easy to service and tune, and further adjustments can be made to match modified intake, exhaust or engine displacement.

4-speed manual transmission

The full manual transmission allows the rider to properly learn clutch operation and gear selection. These skills transfer directly to larger enduro and motocross motorcycles.

Wet multi-plate clutch

The wet multi-plate clutch allows precise control of power delivery to the rear wheel, especially when starting, climbing and riding through slow technical sections.

Electric starter + kick starter

Electric starting adds convenience in everyday use, while the kick starter remains a reliable backup during long off-road rides.

Air-oil cooling

The oil-cooling system helps the engine maintain a stable operating temperature during prolonged use and active off-road riding.

Stainless-steel muffler

The exhaust system with a stainless-steel muffler offers improved corrosion resistance and is designed for use in mud, water and constant exposure to the elements.

Lightweight and advanced chassis

New lightweight frame

When developing the LK150, JHL engineers redesigned the frame and reduced material in several engine-mount and steering-area components. The goal was to reduce weight without sacrificing the required strength.

Improved energy absorption

When designing the new frame, the manufacturer focused on its ability to absorb impact loads. This helps make the motorcycle more stable and comfortable on rough surfaces.

Reduced vibration

The updated chassis was designed to reduce vibration transmitted from the engine and terrain to the rider. This is especially noticeable during longer training sessions.

Aluminum Ø28/22 handlebar

The tapered 28/22 aluminum handlebar combines low weight with the required stiffness. Its wide working area is convenient for controlling the motorcycle while standing on the footpegs.

Steel subframe

The steel subframe provides the necessary strength for the rear section and is designed for the loads typical of off-road use.

Advanced JHLofr LK150 19/16 suspension

JHL Single Chamber inverted fork Ø35

The front suspension uses a 35 mm JHL Single Chamber inverted fork. This layout provides good front-end rigidity and precise control on uneven terrain.

Retuned suspension

JHL specifically revised spring preload and damping so the suspension better matches the weight of younger or lighter riders and responds more effectively to smaller bumps.

Updated rear shock

The rear shock was specially adapted to the new frame. The manufacturer reduced its weight and changed the settings to match the LK150 geometry.

Powerful braking system

220 mm front brake disc

The large 220 mm front disc provides effective deceleration and precise control of braking force on dirt surfaces.

190 mm rear brake disc

The 190 mm rear disc helps control the motorcycle when entering turns, descending and riding through slow technical sections.

Reinforced rear brake pedal

JHL redesigned the rear brake pedal to increase stiffness and resistance to bending. This improves brake feel and allows more precise modulation with the foot.

19/16 wheels — more capability and stability

19" front wheel

The large front wheel rolls over obstacles more easily and is less likely to drop into holes. On forest trails, roots and rocks, this helps maintain a more stable line.

16" rear wheel

The larger rear-wheel diameter improves performance over uneven terrain and works well with the taller riding position and geometry of the 19/16 version.

Aluminum spoked rims

Aluminum rims help reduce unsprung mass. The lighter the wheel, the faster the suspension can react to surface irregularities.

Reinforced hubs

The hubs are designed for the loads generated by active off-road riding, jumps and wheel impacts.

Rim locks

Rim locks secure the tire to the rim and allow lower tire pressures without the risk of the tire rotating on the rim during hard acceleration or braking.

Chain 428H

The reinforced 428H chain is designed for the loads generated by the 140 cc engine and active off-road use.

Why choose the JHLofr LK150 19/16 version

For taller riders

If the 17/14 version already feels too compact, the 19/16 combination provides more space between the seat, handlebar and footpegs, creating a more natural riding position.

Better on difficult terrain

Larger wheels handle deep holes, roots, rocks and ruts much more calmly. The rider has to fight the motorcycle less at every obstacle.

More straight-line stability

The larger wheel diameter improves stability at speed. This is especially noticeable on fast dirt sections and long rough straights.

Closer to a full-size enduro

In riding position and behavior, the 19/16 version is much closer to full-size off-road motorcycles. It allows the rider to get used to a taller seat and standing control in advance.

More room for skill progression

A capable chassis, large wheels and adjustable suspension allow gradual progression from simple training to more difficult and faster tracks.

Strong tuning potential

Platform from 125 to 190 cm³

For the LK150 platform, the manufacturer itself offers up to five engine options ranging from 125 to 190 cm³. This shows that the chassis was designed from the outset with headroom for different power levels.

Extensive Zongshen tuning base

A wide range of piston kits, cylinders, camshafts, cylinder heads, carburetors, intake systems and exhaust systems is available for horizontal Zongshen engines.

Big Bore 160–170 см³

With the correct selection of compatible components, the engine can be upgraded using larger cylinder-piston kits to configurations of approximately 160–170 cm³.

Extensive tuning up to about 190 cm³

More extensive modification can produce builds of around 190 cm³. This requires a comprehensive selection of the cylinder, piston, crankshaft, cylinder head, fuel system and exhaust.

19/16 works well with increased power

Larger wheels and a more stable chassis make it easier to use additional engine power effectively. This makes the 19/16 version especially interesting as a base for further motorcycle development.

Who is the JHLofr LK150 19/16 for

For teenagers

The larger wheels and taller riding position make the LK150 19/16 a good choice for teenagers who have outgrown compact children’s pit bikes.

For taller riders

The 19/16 version provides more legroom and a more natural riding position for riders who already find the 17/14 format too compact.

For riders with basic experience

The motorcycle is ideal for riders who have already mastered the basics and want more speed, stability and capability on rough terrain.

For forest riding

A large front wheel, high ground clearance and capable suspension help the bike move more confidently over roots, rocks, ruts and other natural obstacles.

For dirt tracks

A stable chassis, large wheels and effective brakes make it possible to maintain a good pace on fast training tracks.

For preparing for larger motorcycles

In geometry and feel, the 19/16 is a logical intermediate step before moving to full-size enduro and motocross motorcycles.
